  4.  tgif1_BETA.lha can be found on aminet in gfx/edit, it is a structured drawing program (++).

  6.  xpdf1_BETA.lha can be found on aminet in gfx/show, it is a Portable Document Format
  7. viewer. (some mac stuff..)

  9.  AmigaXv: Is a quite decent (some say great..) image manipulation program
  10. that supports GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PBM, PGM, PPM, X11 bitmap, RLE, PDS/VICAR,
  11. Sun Rasterfile, BMP, PCX, IRIS RGB, XPM, Targa, XWD, PostScript, PhotoCD and PM.
  12. A several image operators is also available. The program can be found on aminet
  13. as xv218.lha in gfx/edit.

  15.  IM_mogrify: For more support for several other image formats have a look at 
  16. IM_mogrify.lha on aminet. It is a part of the ImageMagick program John Cristy.
  17. Formats supported are AVS/BMP/CMYK/EPS/FAX/FITS/GIF/GRAY/HDF/JPEG/MIFF/PCD/
  18. PCX/PDF/PICT/PNG/PNM/RAD/RGB/RLE/SGI/SUN/TGA/TILE/VICAR/VID/VIFF/XBM/XPM/XWD/YUV..

  21.   Fractint : THE fractal program. 'nothing compares 2 U'..
  22. It can render a stunning amount of different fractal types
  23. and also do some nice 3d effects. If you are looking for a
  24. mandelbrot/julia only program there are probably other programs
  25. out there, but if you want more, this one is it! It is available
  26. on aminet in gfx/fract as fractint26.lha. fzoom.lha is a program that
  27. will generate a script file for use with fractint to make fractint create
  28. fractal animations. An amiga version of fractint19 can be found on my
  29. homepage: http://login.eunet.no/~terjepe. A 020ieee and 040881
  30. version is available..

  32.   XAnim: A great program by Mark Podlipec for viewing a huge number of different
  33. animation formats among them Quicktime, AVI, FLI/FLC, IFF and then some..
  34. My port of xanim is available on aminet as xanim8.lha in gfx/show.

  36.  Xmgr: The best dataplotting manipulation tool around (fairly objective statement..)
  37.  + Polynomial regression, splines, running averages, DFT/FFT, cross/auto-correlation.
  38.  + Plots up to 10 graphs with 30 datasets per graph.
  39.  + User-defined scaling, tick marks, labels,  symbols, line styles, colors.
  40.  + Batch mode for unattended plotting.
  41.  + Read and write parameters used during a session.
  42.  + Support through device independent graphic drivers for PostScript, 
  43.    and FrameMaker .mif format.

  46.  Xfig: A nice structured drawing program.
  47.  "Xfig can produce output in several different formats: Encapsulated PostScript, 
  48. IBM-GL (HP/GL), Pic, PiCTeX, LaTeX, box, epic, eepic, eepicemu, textyl, tpic, X11 Bitmap,
  49. X11 Pixmap and gif." Look for xfig9d.lha on aminet.
  50. Also have a look at pstoedit2.lha on aminet. It is a program for converting postscript
  51. files into editable xfig files.
